Dooney’s Cafe

We first got involved with this client’s news and literary site in 2010 when he was having issues with the Joomla CMS it was built on. We ended up converting the site to WordPress, and then continued to support the client over many years, including two separate theme refreshes and numerous technical enhancements. Sadly, the client passed away in 2022. We continued to host and maintain the site until 2026, at which point the client’s son sought an economical way to keep the site accessible online as an archive. We converted the site from WordPress to static HTML/CSS (with a very small amount of Javascript for search functionality), and created a Cloudflare worker to serve the files.
